The Jew Craig Silverstein was the first employee hired by Google's founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin and Silverstein was instrumental in developing the company's search engine, and was Director of Technology at Google for many years. The Jewish woman Susan Wojcicki was the one who gave Google office space to start the business. Susan Wojcicki has since become Vice President of Product Management at Google overseeing AdSense, Google Book Search and Google Video. In 2014 she has attained the highly influential position as the CEO of YouTube. Another Jewish profile who has been important in the shaping of Google is Sheryl Sandberg. Sheryl Sandberg was Google Vice President of Global Online Sales & Operations (2008). She is married to former Yahoo music head David Goldberg (Jewish). Sandberg is now the chief operating officer (COO) of Facebook.
The Jewish Google then takes orders or advice from various Jewish organisations such as the ADL and the Zionist Organization of America to lay down the censorship of the internet and Google. For example: “New York, NY, April 22, 2004 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today praised Google for responding to its concerns about rankings of extremist Web sites. Google has assured ADL that its staff is looking at various technical modifications that will enable the Internet search engine to better identify and categorize racially offensive sites that come up in search results”. Revealed: The Former Israeli Spies Working in Top Jobs at Google, Facebook and Microsoft
A MintPress study has found that hundreds of former agents of the notorious Israeli spying organization, Unit 8200, have attained positions of influence in many of the world’s biggest tech companies, including Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon.
According to employment website LinkedIn, there are currently at least 99 former Unit 8200 veterans currently working for Google. This number almost certainly underestimates the scale of the collaboration between the two organizations, however. For one, this does not count former Google employees. Nor does it include those without a public LinkedIn account, or those who do have an account, but have not disclosed their previous affiliations with the high-tech Israeli surveillance unit. This is likely to be a considerable number, as agents are expressly prohibited from ever revealing their affiliation to Unit 8200. Thus, the figure of 99 only represents the number of current (or extremely recent) Google employees who are brazenly flouting Israeli military law by including the organization in their profiles.
Among these include:
Gavriel Goidel: Between 2010 and 2016, Goidel served in Unit 8200, rising to become Head of Learning at the organization, leading a large team of operatives who sifted through intelligence data to “understand patterns of hostile activists”, in his own words, transmitting that information to superiors. Whether this included any of the over 1000 Gazan civilians Israel killed during their 2014 bombardment of Gaza is unknown. Goidel was recently appointed Head of Strategy and Operations at Google.
Jonathan Cohen: Cohen was a team leader during his time in Unit 8200 (2000-2003). He has since spent more than 13 years working for Google in various senior positions, and is currently Head of Insights, Data and Measurement.
Ori Daniel: Between 2003 and 2006, Daniel was a technical operations specialist with Unit 8200. After a stint with Palantir, he joined Google in 2018, rising to become Head of Global Self-Service for Google Waze.
Ben Bariach: For nearly five years between 2007 and 2011, Bariach served as a cyber intelligence officer, where he “commanded strategic teams of elite officers and professionals.”Since 2016, he has worked for Google. Between 2018 and 2020, he concentrated on tackling “controversial content, disinformation and cyber-security”. Today, he is a product partnership manager for Google in London.
Notably, Google appears to not only accept former Unit 8200 agents with open arms, but to actively recruit current members of the controversial organization. For example, in October 2020, Gai Gutherz left his job as a project leader at Unit 8200 and walked into a full time job at Google as a software engineer. In 2018, Lior Liberman appears to have done the same thing, taking a position as a program manager at Google after 4 years in military intelligence. Earlier this year, she left Google and now works at Microsoft.

In March 2025 Google bought Israeli cybersecurity company Wiz for $32 billion.
The acquisition will mark the single largest transfer of former Israeli spies into an American company. This is because Wiz is run and staffed by dozens of ex Unit 8200 members, the specialist cyber-spying arm of the IDF.
Unit 8200 wrote the programming and designed the algorithms that automated the genocide of Gaza and was also responsible for the pager attack in Lebanon. One of the founders, Ami Luttwak, boasts on his LinkedIn profile that he led a "mission critical R&D team" for Unit 8200 which won them the “Israel Defence Award 2012.” Less well-documented, however, is the fact that a huge chunk of the Wiz workforce, from office managers, to software engineers to product analysts, are also former Unit 8200.

Rotten Apple: Dozens of Former Israeli Spies Hired by Silicon Valley Giant
A new MintPress News study has found dozens of former agents of the Israeli spy agency, Unit 8200, working at tech giant Apple.
Apple has made headlines in recent weeks for touting its commitment to privacy and human rights, rolling out tools to limit surveillance and spyware. But behind the corporate messaging lies a much darker reality.
The company has quietly brought in dozens of veterans from Unit 8200, Israel’s shadowy military intelligence unit known for blackmail, mass surveillance, and targeted killings.
Many of these hires took place as Israel escalated its war on Gaza, and as CEO Tim Cook publicly expressed support for Israel while disciplining employees for pro-Palestinian expressions. Apple’s deepening ties to Israel’s most controversial intelligence raise uncomfortable questions, not only about the company’s political loyalties, but also about how it handles vast troves of personal user data.
A MintPress News investigation has identified dozens of Unit 8200 operatives now working at Apple. The company’s hiring spree coincides with growing scrutiny of its ties to the Israeli government, including its policy of matching employee donations to groups such as Friends of the IDF and the Jewish National Fund, both of which play a role in the displacement of the Palestinian people. The intense pro-Israel bias at the corporation has led many former and current employees to speak out.
The growing number of former Israeli intelligence operatives working at Apple does not seem to concern the company’s senior management. CEO Tim Cook is known to hold strongly pro-Israel views and has spearheaded the Silicon Valley giant’s collaboration with the Israeli state.
Apple has acquired several Israeli tech firms and now operates three centers in the country, employing around 2,000 people. In 2014, Cook invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the company headquarters in Cupertino, CA, where, in front of the cameras, the two openly embraced. The following year, Cook accepted an invitation from President Reuven Rivlin to visit Israel. “It is a great privilege to host you and your team here,” Rivlin said, “Even for me, as one who prefers to write with a pen and paper, it is clear what a great miracle you have created when I look at my staff, and my grandchildren.”
Effusive praise for the Apple CEO has also come in the form of honors from pro-Israel organizations. In 2018, the Anti-Defamation League presented Cook with its inaugural Courage Against Hate Award at its Never Is Now Summit on anti-Semitism and Hate, where the organization described him as a “visionary leader in the business community.”

An estimated 1.6 billion people rely on VPNs to carry out the most sensitive tasks online, from watching illegal videos to engaging in sexual or political activities. Given this context, justifiable fears arise that control over a vast VPN empire could add to Israel’s influence over the online information and security world, creating backdoors for Israeli intelligence to carry out a vast kompromat operation on users around the globe.
Kape Technologies is a major player in the online privacy world, one of the three giants that collectively control the market. It owns many of the world’s top VPNs, including ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access, ZenMate, Intego Antivirus, and a host of tech websites that promote its products. Kape brands can be seen sponsoring a wide array of public figures, such as Tucker Carlson, Angry Video Game Nerd, Drew Gooden, Lex Fridman, Cody Ko, Uncle Roger, and Ben Shapiro.
VPN stands for virtual private network and is a service that claims to protect your anonymity online. Instead of giving your information to an internet service provider, you provide it to the VPN company, who will scramble it, allowing users to get around government censorship and carry out activities online that they do not wish to be connected to themselves, such as purchasing banned products, partaking in certain activities, and communicating with others. Therefore, individuals trust VPNs to conceal their most sensitive activities.
Although it is headquartered in London and employs more than 1,000 people worldwide, Kape Technologies maintains a distinctly Israeli flavor. This begins with its owner, Teddy Sagi. Born in Tel Aviv, the tycoon, who previously spent time in prison for financial crimes, is estimated to be worth $6.4 billion, making him among the top ten richest Israelis.
Sagi has a long history of working closely with the IDF and is rumored to be extremely close to Israeli intelligence. In 2019, he donated $3 million to fund hundreds of academic scholarships for discharged Israeli soldiers. “It is a debt of honor for us and for me personally to express gratitude and appreciation that all of Israel’s citizens owe to you,” Sagi said at the Friends of the IDF Gala. He also made a point of finding jobs for former IDF soldiers in his businesses.
Furthermore, at the height of its campaign against Gaza, the billionaire very publicly gave more than a quarter-million dollars to an IDF charity helping transport soldiers to and from the front.
While in Cyprus in 2021, he was the subject of an assassination attempt that Israel accused Iran of masterminding, only fueling further speculation about his proximity to the national security state. (Iran, for its part, has denied the charges.)
Kape Technology’s connections to the Israeli security services do not end there. Indeed, the company is teeming with Israeli intelligence officials.Company co-founder and longtime CEO Koby Menachemi began his tech career as a developer for Unit 8200, while Liron Peer, the company’s current head of accounting, also served three years in the controversial military unit. Meanwhile, Menachemi’s successor as Kape CEO, Ido Erlichman, is a veteran of Unit 217, the Duvdevan Unit, an elite commando group that carries out intelligence operations and assassinations against the local Arab population.

How Microsoft became a hub for Israeli intelligence
Microsoft’s close collaboration with Tel Aviv — including its employment of over 1,000 Israelis — strongly undermines the tech giant’s claim that no Palestinians have been harmed by its services.
Microsoft disabled the email account of the International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor Karim Khan, impeding the court’s work on executing the arrest warrant for Netanyahu and other senior Israeli leaders.
This is no surprise.
The links between Microsoft and Israel are so long, deep and extensive it can be hard to see where Microsoft ends and the Israeli state begins.
Microsoft employs more than one thousand ex-IDF soldiers and intelligence officers in its offices in Israel, and dozens of ex-IDF in its global headquarters in Redmond, Seattle, and at its offices in Miami, San Francisco, Boston and New York. My investigation, drawing on an extensive list of names provided by a source, has identified well over three hundred former Israeli intelligence personnel who are currently working at Microsoft
Current Microsoft employees in the US who had significant roles in the IDF include:
Jonathan Bar Or, a principal security researcher for Microsoft at its Redmond HQ. He spent six and half years in the IDF, leaving in 2015.
Eitan Shteinberg, a senior manager working on Microsoft’s cloud platform in its downtown Bellevue office. Shteinberg is a dedicated soldier for Israel, spending over a decade in the IDF across numerous stints. He also worked for Israeli arms company Elbit.
Roy Rubinstein, based in Boston and who leads Microsoft’s data analytics platform Fabric. He spent over nine years in the IDF ‘focused on state of the art technologies for autonomous vehicles and fast paced development for special units.’
Joseph Berenbilt based in Pennsylvania who works on the Microsoft Azure system implicated in the genocide was ‘an operator in an elite Israeli special operations combat unit.’
The extensive collaboration between Microsoft and Israel, including its employment of at least one thousand Israelis, has been confirmed previously by Israel lobby groups. The full list of ex-IDF I’ve identified working for Microsoft in the US can be found here.
The collaboration is long-standing and over the years Microsoft has been intensely focused on expanding its links to Israel. This focus has resulted in Microsoft buying seventeen Israeli tech companies since the year 2000, all of which were founded by former intelligence officers in the IDF’s spy unit. The company spent billions on these acquisitions, and made the founders, all of whom are digital architects of apartheid, extremely rich in the process. These acquisitions also deliver billions to Israel in tax revenues, keeping an economy reliant on the IDF-to-US-tech-giant pipeline, afloat.
Also worth an honourable mention is Amdocs, founded in the 1980s by IDF veterans. In 2023 Amdocs signed an agreement with Microsoft to build a new platform for the telecommunications industry. Despite being a multi-billion dollar company, Amdocs is secretive and its executives rarely give interviews. One reason is its shady past. In the early 2000s the company was suspected to be spying on White House and State Department communications, operating essentially as a front for the Mossad. The suspicions were strong enough for US counterintelligence to open an investigation, but they supposedly found no evidence of spying. In any case, Amdocs will be at home working with Microsoft, the collaboration bolstering the connections between Israelis and Israeli-Americans who have served in the IDF.
Given the vast number of former IDF and Israeli spies employed by Microsoft, and given the way we know Israel has used AI and big data in both Gaza and the West Bank, the claim that Microsoft’s services haven’t harmed a single Palestinian is simply not credible.
It was recently reported that the system used by the IDF to manage the population registry and movement of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, called ‘Rolling Stone,’ which is integral to apartheid, is maintained by Microsoft Azure. Other reporting by +972 magazine, an independent outlet based in Israel-Palestine, found that Microsoft employees work closely with units in the Israeli army to develop products and systems, often embedding themselves within the IDF for months at a time. The same outlet also reported that Israel’s top information technology officer, Racheli Dembinsky, when presenting at a conference in Tel Aviv, described AI as providing Israel “very significant operational effectiveness” in Gaza as the logo of Microsoft Azure appeared on a large screen behind her. We also know that Israel relies on big data and AI to churn out lists of names for assassination, and we know, from the daily videos of death and destruction, and from UN bodies working in Gaza, that many of those killed by Israel have been children.
Microsoft employs large numbers of people who quite literally helped build the digital infrastructure underpinning a genocidal apartheid state. Many of these people continue their work to further the goal of ethnic cleansing and Israeli domination of the region, only now as civilians for Microsoft (although in some cases as de facto IDF, embedded in the Israel army).
Far from being harmless, these people are the architects of harm.
Microsoft has helped enable some of the worst crimes against humanity we’ve ever seen. Their claim they’ve exonerated themselves via an internal investigation is laughable and smells of a company in panic mode as the consequences begin to dawn on senior management.
Another clue that many Microsoft employees see their civilian work as advancing a genocidal mission came last year when, a year into the genocide, a giant Israel flag was draped over multiple stories of the Microsoft office in Gav Yam technology park in Beersheba, Israel.
We should also bear in mind that while the genocide of Gaza started in October 2023, Israel’s apartheid system predates its final effort at the ethnic cleansing of Gaza by decades. Just as IBM provided Nazi Germany with the ability to track and trace Jews, Microsoft and other tech companies have long worked with Israel to collect and stores huge amounts of data on Palestinians. This data is what then justifies and enables Israel to harass Palestinians at checkpoints, confine Palestinians to Palestinian-only areas, and frequently detain and murder them. This huge collection of data also serves a critical PR purpose, providing Israel with the veneer of sophistication it needs to talk about ‘targeted’ military actions while enacting apartheid, mass detention and mass slaughter.
It’s also likely that Microsoft helped Israel develop the facial recognition technology which it uses to restrict the movement of Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem. In 2012, when talking about the upcoming launch of a new Xbox and video game input device called Kinect, Yoram Ya’akobi, director of Microsoft Israel’s Development Center, said “all the face recognition technology being used with Kinect was developed in Israel. If you see an application with face recognition, you know it was made here.”
Microsoft is deeply embedded in the genocidal architecture of the Israeli state, and agents of that state help staff key products and functions. The claim that its services have never been used to target or harm Palestinians doesn’t stand up to the most rudimentary test of intelligence or logic.
When the reckoning comes for Israel, it must come for Microsoft too.

How Microsoft’s Technology, Investments, and Israeli Workforce Are Shaping the Tools of Occupation and the Genocide in Gaza
In the months after October 7, Israel’s military reliance on Microsoft’s cloud services exploded, surging more than 200-fold. Petabytes of data from drones, checkpoints, and biometric scanners poured into the company’s servers, feeding AI systems that human rights groups warn are being used to target civilians in Gaza.
This isn’t an accident of technology falling into the wrong hands. It’s the product of a decades-long relationship between Microsoft and Israel, a partnership that spans military contracts, surveillance programs, and the recruitment of hundreds of ex-soldiers into its workforce. From its first R&D center in occupied Haifa to its current role in powering the Israeli military’ AI infrastructure, Microsoft has been deeply embedded in the architecture of colonialism.

David has already announced significant changes at CBS, promising “unbiased” news coverage and “varied ideological perspectives,” which are widely understood to signal a shift toward right-wing, pro-Trump coverage. Worse still, Bari Weiss, a journalist with a long history of zealous pro-Israel advocacy, is being considered as the network’s new ombudsman, shaping its political direction, precisely because of her “pro-Israel stance.”

Revealed: The Israel Lobbyists Writing America’s News
A MintPress News investigation has found hundreds of former employees of Israel lobbying groups such as AIPAC, StandWithUs and CAMERA working in top newsrooms across the country, writing and producing America’s news – including on Israel-Palestine. These outlets include MSNBC, The New York Times, CNN and Fox News.
Some of these former lobbyists are responsible for producing content on Israel and Palestine – a gigantic and undisclosed conflict of interest. Many key U.S. newsroom staff were also formerly Israeli spies or intelligence agents, standing in stark contrast to journalists with pro-Palestine sentiments, who have been purged en masse since October 7, 2023.

The Pegasus hacking tool was just the beginning. A new survey of spyware firms reveals Israeli companies are being used by agencies in Western nations to build perfect dictatorships under democratic guise.

Last week another batch of peaceful pro-Palestine protestors were arrested by British police on suspicion of terrorism offenses, including a disabled man in a wheelchair, as the UK continues its descent into authoritarianism on behalf of Israel.
If any of these protestors had their phones on them at the time of arrest, the police will most likely have scraped them for data using sophisticated spy tech software. Protestors not arrested will have been caught on mobile cameras that sit atop police vans in the UK, and their faces, perhaps even their voices, will have been captured, analyzed and cross referenced against a police database.
And in a perverse twist, this spyware technology – technology which now underpins the insidious and growing capabilities of the modern surveillance state – will most likely have been made in Israel by Israeli spies.
But it’s not just in the UK.
Spy tech developed by former Israeli spies is being used on an industrial scale by various agencies in western democracies, from police forces to national security agencies to militaries. Some has been declared illegal, some skirts legal boundaries, and much remains hidden.
The scale of usage, and the range of capabilities provided by this Israeli spy tech, is vast. From face and voice recognition software, to interception and wiretap technology, to covert location tracking, to forced data extraction from smartphones and other devices.
The tech, built by software engineers who cut their teeth writing code to enable and enforce Israeli domination over, and apartheid against Palestinians, is being sold to security services, police forces and immigration agencies across the West.
While much of the information in this article isn’t new, it hasn’t been summarized in one place before. The implications for global civil liberties of Israel’s dominance in spy tech have also not been articulated, and past media coverage has sometimes omitted the Israeli link to these companies. This article will outline the primary players, the sellers and the buyers, and also identify recent contracts, previously undocumented, between Israeli spytech and Western buyers.
Scandals involving Israeli spyware companies have been well documented by mainstream media, the most famous of which was the NSO Group affair. NSO, an Israeli firm founded by ex-Unit 8200 officers Shalev Hulio and Omri Lavie, was found guilty in a California court in 2019 of selling its Pegasus software to governments so they could hack WhatsApp accounts. Pegasus, which was able to execute what is known as a ‘zero-click’ attack to access a smartphone without the user knowing, was used by governments to spy on dissidents, human rights activists and journalists and was likely used by Saudi agents to spy on Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi before he was murdered. The company was eventually ordered to pay $167 million in damages to Meta, who bought the case, and in 2021 Biden blacklisted the company, preventing it doing business the US. (The US state department, notably, went out of its way to say the US would take no action against Israel, despite the fact that the Israeli government provide export licenses for all spyware software).
Also blacklisted by Biden as part of the same executive order was another Israeli spyware maker called Candiru, whose hacking software did not attract the same high-profile attention as the NSO Group. Candiru, also founded by ex-Unit 8200 intelligence personnel, sold spyware to governments to spy on human rights activists, journalists, academics, embassy workers, and dissidents.
In 2023, the Biden administration again blacklisted two Israeli spyware companies with little fanfare, and once again without taking action against Israel. The two companies, Cytrox and Intellexa, were founded by Tal Dilian, who spent 24 years in the IDF, rising to become chief commander of Unit 8200. In 2019, Dilian, who lives in Cyprus, was visited by a Forbes journalist, where he demonstrated how his software could remotely hack a phone within seconds.
In Europe, Cyprus and Barcelona have become hubs for ex-Unit 8200 Israelis building spyware companies.
Another Israeli spy firm, Paragon Solutions, was identified earlier this year as silently infiltrating and extract data from WhatsApp, Signal, Messenger and Gmail without needing user interaction. A criminal complaint against Paragon was filed in Rome after an Italian journalist was hacked by the Italian government using Paragon software. No other legal action has been taken, however. The company, founded by Unit 8200 commanders Ehud Schneorson, Idan Nurick, Igor Bogudlov, and advised by former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, has not been blacklisted by the EU or the US and remains free to operate.
These companies are just the tip of the iceberg, the names that skirted legal grey areas and either eventually fell on the wrong side of the law (such as it is) and into the scope of the authorities, or whose illicit spying activities were discovered.
